Connection help
Use this when ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or another MCP host cannot connect.
- Endpoint:
https://mcp.shelflayer.com/mcp - Transport: Streamable HTTP / remote HTTP
- Auth: OAuth with Google sign-in
What to include
For the fastest answer, include:
- The MCP host you used.
- The approximate time of the error.
- The error message or screenshot.
- The prompt or tool call that failed.
Enterprise shelves
For internal docs, legal corpora, company wikis, manuals, or private knowledge bases, email with the corpus type and the MCP host you want to use.
Common fixes
- Missing Bearer token: do not open the MCP URL directly; connect through an MCP client.
- OAuth loop: delete the connector, recreate it with the exact HTTPS endpoint, then sign in again.
- No matching passages: retry with older vocabulary or use
list_booksbefore searching passages. - Tool list looks stale: reconnect the server or restart the host application.
